Privacy Notice

Mr Wok (the “Restaurant”), located at Av. Eugenio Garza Sada 3820, Local 8, Más Palomas (Valle de Santiago), 64780 Monterrey, N.L., Mexico, is responsible for the personal data you provide through this website, in accordance with Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and its regulations.

What data do we collect?

When you book a table through this site we only collect the data needed to manage your visit:

  • ✦Name
  • ✦Phone number
  • ✦Email address
  • ✦Date, time and party size of your reservation
  • ✦Any comments you choose to include (optional)

What do we use your data for?

We process your data for the following primary purposes, necessary for the service you request:

  • ✦Registering, managing and confirming your reservation.
  • ✦Contacting you by phone or email about changes or questions regarding your reservation.
  • ✦Handling event, group or job enquiries you send us through the site's contact channels.

We do not use your data for advertising or commercial prospecting, nor do we build profiles with it.

Transfers and data processors

We do not sell or share your data with third parties. To operate reservations we rely on technology providers acting as data processors on behalf of the Restaurant: the unonly reservations platform and its cloud infrastructure (Supabase and Vercel), with servers in the United States. These providers only process the data to deliver the service, under security safeguards, and never for their own purposes.

ARCO rights and withdrawal of consent

You may at any time exercise your rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Objection (ARCO), withdraw your consent or limit the use of your data by writing to mrwokgarzasada@gmail.com with the subject “Personal data”, stating your name and the right you wish to exercise. We will reply within the timeframes set by law. If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you may contact the competent Mexican data protection authority.

Retention and security

We keep your reservation data only for as long as needed to manage it and handle any follow-up questions, and we protect it with administrative and technical safeguards: restricted access, encryption in transit and database access controls.

Cookies

This site does not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. Only strictly necessary technical mechanisms may be used, such as the anti-bot verification (Cloudflare Turnstile) when submitting the reservation form.

Changes to this notice

We may update this Privacy Notice to reflect legal or operational changes. The current version will always be published on this page, with its update date.
